BUILDING VISIBILITY, CAMPAIGNS, AND MOMENTUM

in a crowded marketplace
As Acer approached its 50th anniversary, the market kept getting tougher: inventory shortages, growing OEM competition, customer skepticism, and higher expectations. Acer needed a brand and marketing partner that could create a clear path forward, stay true to the brand’s values, and bring a differentiated approach to market—one that met audiences where they were and spoke to what they needed.

Oversized brand visibility during CES
When CES rolls into town and your brand needs to get noticed, a 30-foot-tall billboard can do a lot of heavy lifting. But standing out during CES is nothing new—and it keeps getting more expensive—so Acer needed a marketing approach that felt different from previous years.

For the billboard, we gave content creator Justin Serran a blank canvas to show how Acer’s next-gen AI PCs unlock endless creative possibilities. Shown more than 6,000 times throughout CES, the billboard reached over 1.5 million people on the Las Vegas Strip.

We brought Acer’s brand and products to life through real-world moments and digital placements:

• Through daily social content, behind-the-scenes storytelling, and live product moments, we gave viewers an exclusive look at Acer’s showroom experience and new product lineup. Social content resonated with the audience, driving high visibility on Instagram and an engagement rate 70% above the industry benchmark.

• Acer sponsored PCMag’s storied CNET Party, welcoming thousands of guests with an AI-driven personalized photo-to-card experience powered by Acer’s latest tech. The experience gave guests a slick takeaway item and an easy link to share on social.
‍
• Premium placements on tech publisher sites like Fandom and CNET drove 33 million impressions and a CTR 33% higher than the benchmark, with AI-curious audiences eager to learn more.

vidcon 2026
VidCon is one of the world’s biggest creator events, where digital culture, creators, and fans come together to set the trends for the year. Acer partnered with premium tech publisher Mashable, which was expanding its VidCon presence with an onsite content studio, live creator interviews, real-time social coverage, and a major footprint across the convention. As the exclusive brand partner within Mashable’s VidCon presence, Acer’s AI-powered technology was integrated into the content studio, featured across creator-driven social content, and echoed across the digital ecosystem as audiences followed the event.

As younger generations continue to evolve, inspire trends, and shape culture, Acer is embracing a more visible role as the brand that supports those creating the future. During VidCon, Acer’s social content saw awareness gains:

Creating a social presence rooted in brand truths
Social moves fast, and it can feel overwhelming. Building a brand’s social strategy starts with alignment on the reason it should show up in the first place. That thinking fueled our work to redefine and relaunch social for Acer and Predator Gaming in North America.

We reviewed performance data, trends, and the current landscape to build an audience-first strategy centered on usefulness, consistency, authenticity, and real-life examples. Historical content that no longer fit the new approach was removed, and duplicative content from other regions was scaled back so regionally developed content had more room to perform.

Within one month, organic metrics improved:

• 70% higher engagement rate on custom content compared to other regional or HQ content
• Average engagements per post saw a 2.5x lift
• Comment volume increased 4x

Work continues in line with this strategy because the best time to earn customers is long before they’re ready to buy.
